1950-1967

Dimitrios Theos with the help of his son Theodosios Theos founded our company by manufacturing handmade brushes and paintbrushes on the ground floor of their home, in the form of a family cottage industry. The raw materials at the beginning were of animal and vegetable origin, the brush bases were mainly made of wood and the processing was done by hand. The initial manufacturing rate did not exceed 30 brushes per day. In 1964, the brush and paintbrush distribution store was inaugurated in the Vardari area of ​​Thessaloniki. In 1965, the first manual machine was purchased, second-hand from Germany (manufactured in 1932), which doubled production. At the same time, the manufacturing of industrial and technical brushes of special construction began.

1968-1985

In 1968, the factory was built in the Lagyna area of ​​Thessaloniki, which was equipped with additional wood processing machines. In 1969, the factory employed 22 people, providing employment to most of the young people in the area, while many tasks were still done manually. In 1970, the first semi-automatic machine was purchased, which increased production to 100 brushes per day. Gradually, the import of plastic bristles from Germany began. In 1972, the first commercial vehicle was purchased, with which Theodosios Theos distributed all the products from Thessaly to Evros.

1986-2026

In 1986, Dimitrios Theos, son of Theodosios, joined the company. Shortly afterwards, he completed his studies as an Electrical Engineer at the Technical University of Thessaloniki and actively contributed to the development, automation and modernization of the company. In 1988, the company invested in the first fully automatic brush manufacturing machine, which allowed the production of an average of 200 brushes per day and enabled it to meet increased demands in the industrial sector. In 1997, production was vertically integrated with the investment in a plastic press (Injection Moulding Machine). In 2004, a fully automated robotic machine for industrial brushes was purchased, one of the most modern of its time. In 2007, a double robotic machine for the manufacture of brushes and brooms was added. In 2022, with the aim of improving the quality of plastic parts, a second modern plastic production machine is acquired, which allows the molding of larger objects.
In 2025, a significant investment is made with the purchase of the fourth fully developed robotic machine, which significantly increases production, while maintaining the highest possible quality.
